The T20 world cup is on it’s way on October 16th with Australia being the host. There are many players to look out for and it’s going to be one of the biggest sporting events in the world. With the hosts being the favourite after lifting last year’s world cup trophy it’ll be great to see who gives them tough competition with India, England, Pakistan and New Zealand all being worthy of an opponent to give aussies a run for their money to defend the title.

There are many players to look out for in this world cup but here are our top 11 to be part of this world eleven side

1 – Jos Buttler ( England )  –

With four hundreds and 863 runs in IPL , Jos Buttler was in amazing form and deserves the opener place in this side. The orange cap and his hard hitting all over the park makes him a certain yes . In the first six overs of the powerplay he can play his all-round shots and keep his team on the front with his play all over the park . With England’s captaincy in his hands as well as wicketkeeping being his forte along with batting, Jos is the perfect opener for this team

2 – Babar Azam ( Pakistan ) –

The number one ranked ICC Batsman deserves a seat in the world eleven side with his current form. With his ability to control the game and play till the end of the innings, it gives a strong support to the team and other players to play their original style without the fear of losing wickets. Babar plays according to the run rate required or according to the situation the team is under. He along with Jos are a perfect combination of sweet and spice in a victorious dish

3 – Suryakumar Yadav ( India )  – When SKY plays then sky is the limit. With a strike rate of over 175 in matches and a batting style which helps him play all over the park , Surya is our perfect number three to come for this team. Fearless and power to hit a six at any stadium makes him one of the most lethal batsman in this new era of cricket.  In current form no one comes close to take this position from our own Mr 360 from India

4 – Aiden Markram ( South Africa ) – With an average of over forty in batting and someone who has a knack of taking wickets with his right arm off break. The new format of cricket requires players who can bowl as well as bat and Aiden being the guy who does both is a great pick for world 11 side with his current form

5 – Glenn Maxwell ( Australia )  – Another guy who can come and take the game away from you in a matter of eight to ten balls is what makes Glenn Maxwell a special player in the t20 format. Someone with a strike rate of 150 plus and three hundreds in this format, he is someone we cannot just think to keep out of this squad. Another player who can give us some handy wickets in the middle with his right arm off break

6 – Hardik Pandya ( India ) – With his comeback Hardik Pandya has captained Gujrat Lions to their maiden IPL win, captained India to series victories in Ireland & a single match captaincy victory in West Indies. While all of this has been going on Hardik has been consistent with the bat as well as with the bowl while achieving pace crossing the 140 mph mark. With the year being great for the man from Gujarat , Kung fu Pandya deserves this accolade in the World 11 t20 side

7 – Rashid Khan ( Afghanistan)  – Arguably the most consistent all-round player in T20’s since the past decade, there has hardly been a day off in the Afghanistan national’s cricket journey. With his helicopter style batting and an average of mere 13 in bowling, he is the best spinning sensation and choice of spinner in our side.

8 – Wanindu Hasaranga ( Sri Lanka )  – With the options of Adil Rashid , Tabrez Shamsi also in our mind we went ahead with Hasaranga because of his orthodox leg break which has given batsman all over the world nightmares . With a strike rate that makes him take wickets every twelve bowls of an over Wanindu is surely the one to look for this upcoming world cup and also the near future.

9 – Josh Hazlewood ( Australia )  – With his perfect line and length Josh has proved to be one of the best bowlers in the shorter format. With his style of bowling similar to Glenn McGrath , he is one of the top bowlers in all formats of cricket. Taking wickets in the start of an innings is a top criteria if you want to be ahead in a match and that is exactly what comes with the aussie frontliner

10 – Jasprit Bumrah ( India ) – This one is a no brainer as Jasprit brings in quality at the start of the innings as well as wickets with his death bowling deadly yorkers . With a economy that doesn’t cross the six mark as well as fifty wickets in his international career, Bumrah comes up to his name of giving the batsman a tough day on the pitch.

11 – Trent Boult ( New Zealand ) –  The left arm fast paceman brings is sheer pace as well as precision in his line and length which is the perfect combination in T20 format. Someone who can bowl in swing as well as outswing with the new bowl, Boult packs in the perfect formula to take wickets of any batsmen of the world. The kiwi can also pack some punches with the bat if required but that’s something this team won’t require with their sheer calibre and talent So guys what do you think of this world t20 eleven in 2022. Can this team beat win the upcoming t20 world cup ?
